Wyoming here I come!

I am excited!!! I am going up to Wyoming/Montana for a trip and I just can't wait!!!! We leave tomorrow, a 3 hour airplane trip... wow! I have everything packed and ready to go. We are going hiking, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, and having FUN! There are about 4 to 5 hotels we're staying at, most of them are cabins... YIKES!
I love animals and nature, but if I see a bear; I'll be on a plane and out of there before you can hand me bear spray. Yep, that's right, bear spray! We have to take bear spray on our trip, a big can of it. If you have any advice, you may want to tell me, soon. It is going to be about 30 degrees in the morning! I am going to freeze to death!
I have bad news that you may already have figured it out...I CAN'T BLOG FROM WYOMING!!!!! That means about 2 1/2 weeks of no blogging, none! I am going to blog like the wind when I come back, and I will have a LOT of things to blog about. When I am gone please, please, please, check out and comment on my other posts (my last 2 are the best). True Talent?

I painted this picture and I never really knew if it was good or not. If you lovely followers could do me a favor and vote (1-10) on how good my painting is, that would just make my day! Remember I'm not a grown women with lots of experience, I haven't even had 1 art lesson if my whole life! So if you would just be so kind to vote on my art piece, that would make me happier than a little baby getting her first kiss from her parents!
I am very proud of my work, even if you all vote 1! But if I am happy with your vote I will thank you on my next blog, and you will be one of my favorite followers yet! Vote, comment, follow!

The Wonderful Things of the World
My family and I recently went to Florida. While I was there I saw lots of things I normally don't see here in my home town. Pelicans, fish, crabs, shells, and starfish were everywhere, even sea turtle nests! We went on a sailing trip and stopped at a sandbar. There were birds running around on the shore, conk shells buried into the sand... but my favorite thing there was the huge orange and yellow starfish. When I saw it my mind opened up to the world. I noticed that this starfish didn't just grow to be this amazing, something or someone was behind this... my answer was, Jesus/God. This world is full of such wonderful amazing things that our minds haven't opened up to. Florida is one of the prettiest and most amazing places on earth (to me) and I think it is a wonderful place to let your mind explore. My sister had one of the most exciting, life changing moments of her life there. On Easter morning she went out on our ocean view balcony and asked Jesus into her heart. I think that was just one of the most amazing things I have ever seen.
If you read this blog and think about the beautiful things on this earth your mind will change the way you look at things. How did we get here? When will everything be perfect? Am I ever going to understand? These questions can be answer from a book I like to call the Bible, but the true and exact answer to everything is...  Jesus!

Hello Summer, Goodbye Stress!!!

Now you may be wondering why I haven't blogged in a while, well I have great explanation. You see, my old neighbors (best family friends) came back from Texas to visit. We were having soooo much fun , I just couldn't leave for a second. We set off the best fireworks, they were from Tennessee! Some of them went shooting up above all of the trees, it was incredible! We had some other family friends over, they are sooooooo much fun. We also went hiking with them and went to the pool.
Later we went over to our other neighbors house and had a party. We had fireworks, food, singing, and just plain old FUN! We have this party about once or twice a year.
Now that our neighbors are gone, I am bored to death. We're going to the lake today, which is always fun, but it just won't be the same.

☼A Delicious Summer Recipe☼
*Hawaiian Beach Cake*

*Ingredients

-1 baked 13-by9-by2-inch cake
-2 1/2 cups of blue frosting
-1/4 cup of whit frosting
-1 cup of graham cracker crumbs
-Candy rocks
-Birthday candles
-Plastic Hawaiian Dancers
-Candy flower sprinkles
-Plastic Palm trees
-Fruit Stripe gum (surfboards)
-Plastic figures
-Lifesavers (inner tubes)
-Sour tape, cup into 1-inch lengths (beach blankets)
-Paper parasols (paper umbrellas)
-Plastic dolphins or gummy fish

*Instructions

1. Lightly coat the entire cake with a thin layer of blue frosting. Swirl extra blue frosting on two thirds of the cake to create the ocean with waves and a curvy shoreline. Add whitecaps by squirting white frosting through a pastry bag (or plastic bag).

2. To make the sandy beach, sprinkle graham cracker crumbs on the remaining third of the cake (the crumbs will stick to the thin layer of frosting). Next, turn the cake into a bustling beach. Arrange a circle of candy rocks around a candle bonfire.

3. Add Hawaiian dancers, a candy flower path, plastic palm trees, Fruit Stripe gum surfboards, plastic swimmers, Lifesavers tubes, sour tape beach blankets, and paper parasols (umbrellas). Don't forget to stock the ocean with edible and decorative sea creatures.

This is a great cake to make with your family and great for any occasion! Have fun!
