One of the first things our family did in Lake Placid was go dog sledding around a big frozen lake- Lake Placid. The beautiful huskies would pull us along, and when they got thirsty they would just open there mouths and dip it down toward the snow, letting the snow fill their mouths while we were gliding across the ice. Dog sledding is now one of my favorite things to do... Nature, snow, and dogs made this one of the most incredible experiences of my life!
Here we go!
And we are off! The leaders of the pack. This was the white husky's first time leading... she was barking with joy when we started to move. Resting after a long trip. The leaders again... Waiting in front of our hotel. Petting one of the dogs. The huskies were so soft and sweet! Did you know that their beautiful bright blue eyes help them see off the white snow...
Dog sledding is so much fun... I wish I could do it again and again!

The Holidays begin with some cheer, a blanket of snow, and then the ending sunshine...
This is the first time it has snowed on Christmas day, in our town, sense the 1980's, and it was deffenitly one of the best Christmases yet. A perfect blanket of snow... and great holiday cheer!
I am leaving for Lake Placid, New York tomorrow and I can't wait to download my pictures to show to you all!
